Le Foyer Bakery

Le Foyer Bakery

On Sunday, PK was at work, and I was busy working on my new (to me) phonograph from the 1920s. After making little progress, I decided that I wanted a Haitian chicken patty. I headed to Le Foyer Bakery in Mattapan. Unfortunately, I got there late in the day, and they were out of chicken patties. The only reason why I was able to hold back my tears was because they still had some beef patties left. I ordered three beef and two salted fish patties. Both of these were really good, but, in my opinion, not as good as their chicken patties.  Of the two I liked the beef patty the best. When PK got home and tried them, she agreed.
Verdict: Le Foyer Bakery has the best chicken patties that I have ever had. Their beef and fish patties are good, but unlike the chicken patties, I do not dream about them.
