Santarpio’s
A few weeks back, PK and I decided to check out Santarpio’s. Our plan was to order a sausage pizza, but the second we walked into the bar and saw the grill we knew that we were going to have the grilled lamb and sausage. I also wanted to order a pizza, but PK reminded me that we had to save some room for the papusas that we were going to pick up while wandering around East Boston. For $9.00, we ordered the combo plate which had one homemade sausage and a few pieces of lamb. They were delicious. Normally, I only like lamb when it is marinated, but these pieces were grilled to perfection and were even tastier when eaten with the hot peppers and bread that came with our meal.
Verdict: I cannot wait to go back to try their pizza and to get another combo plate.
