City Feed
The other week, PK and I checked out the new City Feed on Centre St. I have never been to their original location since if I am on that side of JP, I usually find myself at La Papusa, Yelli’s (sp?), Cafe Miami, or Alex’s Chimis.
I can’t really comment on the grocery store part since I didn’t pay much attention to the shelves. I was too focused on the sandwiches.

PK got a Eight Fold Path (tofu, hoisin, cilantro, mint, carrots, cucumber, peanuts; $6.29) which we both liked.
I got a Prosciutto di Parma (mozzarella, tomato, basil, olive oil, balsamic vinegar; $8.99). The thing that confuses me most about the sandwich is its name since there is no prosciutto on the sandwich (or in the list of ingredients on their sandwich board). Besides that, the sandwich tasted exactly as one would expect based on the ingredients.

Verdict: While PK’s sandwich was good (and fairly priced), my sandwich was a joke for almost $9 (yeah, I should’ve known better when I ordered it). If I’m going to spend that much on a sandwich, I really expect a lot more when it comes to ingredients and/or flavor.
P.S. Sorry for only taking a picture of half of each sandwich…We had already eaten half by the time I took them.
looking forward for more information about this. thanks for sharing. Eugene
