Turkuaz Market

baklava - turkuaz market - eat and destroy

PK and I are back from LA.  I will post some pictures from a few of the restaurants, and, hopefully, a video of PK and my dad eating live shrimp at The Hump in Santa Monica. The video came out really dark due to the lighting so I am going to try and mess with the contrast so you can see them biting the shrimps while they are still moving around.

A few days before we left for LA, we were shopping at Super 88 in Brighton and decided to check out Turkuaz Market, which is located just across the street.  Besides carrying Turkish Kinder Eggs, they make what is probably the best baklava I have ever had. As soon as we left the market, I ate the baklava and was in the process of turning around to get more until I realized that between us we did not have $1 for another piece.

Verdict: Even if you are stuffed from your meal at the Super 88 food court, you will find enough room for a piece of baklava from Turkuaz.
