Costello’s
I don’t know why, but I have been craving greasy food lately, and, unfortunately, I have been too lazy to drive to Grumpy Whites. So, after hearing about the Chili Fries at Costello’s, I decided to check them out. Since I have an extreme hatred for almost all beans, PK and I had to skip the chili fries and try the Cheese Fries. The fries were crispy and the cheese sauce was actually really tasty. Bacon and a bit of hot sauce are the only things that could make them even better.
Next, we ordered the Buffalo Wings. These were good, but nowhere close to as good as the wings at Buff’s Pub.
After eating way too many appetizer’s, we decided to split a Bacon Cheese Burger. While their burger is not the best in Boston, it is easily the second best burger that I have had in JP. (The best in JP goes to Zon’s.)

Verdict: How can I say anything bad about a place that serves me delicious greasy food and cheap beer. I will be back soon!

What other appetizers did you have? Because those look so bad that they’re good…
Lyss – Those are the only appetizers that I have tried. I have heard that their nachos are not very tasty. Stick with the Cheese Fries, Burger, & a PBR, and you will have no complaints!
The boneless buffalo wings, as well as those with bones, are quite good. I think they have a Honey BBQ version as well that are tasty. Also, the Mac & Cheese is great: penne baked in a cheese sauce with ham chunks and peas, with a light breadcrumb topping. I don’t miss much about JP, but I miss being able to walk to Costello’s for quick, greasy fix.
